Ron "Doc" Parlee

1945-2001

Doc passed away on April 12, 2001, from pneumonia...way too early.  Those of us who had the privilege of his friendship know that he was the salt of the earth, goodhearted, brave and compassionate. We're going to miss you Doc.

Doc's wife Terry tells us the memorial service for Doc will be at Allen & Dahl's funeral home in Redding, California at 1300 on April 27, 2001. 

The interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery near Medford, Oregon. It will be on May 4, 2001 at 1400. Full military honors will be held and Doc's going to be in good company, a lot of Marines are buried there.  His stone will reference his service in Vietnam and his Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
