Andrea Axt received her Ph.D. in chemistry and a degree in psychology with specialization in child and adolescent psychology.

During the last thirty-five years she has completed numerous training programs in Polarity Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy, including a specialized program in the use of Craniosacral Therapy in pediatrics.

Andrea has practised Polarity Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, the Prenatal Metamorphic Technique and Sandplay Therapy for over thirty-five years, and has taught Polarity Therapy, Energy-based Craniosacral Therapy, and special techniques for working with children on four continents.

She is the author of many papers and has given presentations of her work with children as well as workshops at professional conferences. In her current research, she is endeavouring to uncover the causes of autism.

Andrea Axt is a member of  the International Polarity Education Alliance (EPEA), the Quebec Federation of Massage Therapists (FQM), the Autism Society of America, and the Canadian Association for Sandplay Therapy (CAST).
