Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 8.4.0 released February 4, 2007

What's New:

-  The Help screens are updated.

-  Keyboard control of the Basic Items View is extended to the weekday row.
-  Tip Hints are added in the Basic Items View (on how to use the Keyboard controls)

New Feature: Chart Comparison

-  The Compare function enables the comparison of two calendars of two persons or 2 birth events.
   Quad and Year views of 2 persons can also be compared side by side. Ideal for partners or
   any person you deal with closely on a daily basis.

Fixed Bugs:

 Many minor bugs were fixed. The Name screen is now centered on the monitor screen in full view mode.

Insight Calendar:  New Version 1.0 Beta 8.0.0 released November 1, 2006

What's New:

-  November 2006 was added to the forecasting time range.
-  The Recent Items and Recent Names lists have been enhanced. The complete Names database
   is available with a left mouse click on the Names Caption in the calendar's heading. A right-click
   on the caption brings up an editable list in which names can be re-arranged with drag-and-drop
   ease. Groups of names can be deleted from the Recent Names list by using the CTRL or Shift key.
   Helpful tips are shown by pressing the F1 key when the mouse cursor is on the Names or
   Items caption.

Fixed Bugs:

 Several bugs in the Main Calendar and Astro View section were fixed.

Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 7.9.1 released September 22, 2006

Changes:

-  Improvements were made in selecting categories and Items. Nagging tooltips have been removed.
   New categories can be selected and their respective item lists can be viewed without the requirement
   to select an item. Program crashes experienced in this area no longer occur.

-  The Main Calendar's Search function is available in the enhanced view section.

 Planet positions were slightly off for some Noon and PM births with timezones east of Greenwich, UK.
   This problem is fixed.

-  Transiting planets in conjunction with natal Mars did not show "Rule Exception" in the Long Term chart
   of Astro View. This problem is fixed.

What's New:

-  Calendar months have been extended back to 2000 and forward to September 2006.
-  A new installation of the program will preserve user preferences from a previous installation.

-  Coordinates of the various dialog forms such as Name and Astro View appeared
   in the wrong locations of the monitor screen. This problem is fixed.

What's New:

-  The Quad and Year views are new features in the Main Calendar section.

  Auto-tracking has been added to the Astro View calendar which can be turned on by
   moving the mouse pointer over the planet beside the chart wheel, and turned off by
   moving the mouse pointer off the calendar. The auto-tracker can also be activated
   by moving the mouse pointer to a specific planet row on the calendar and then using
   the keyboard cursor keys. The mouse pointer stays only in the specific planet row.

Insight Calendar:  Changes regarding version 1.0 Beta 7.5.0

Bugs:

-  Clicking on an item icon will correctly change the Main Calendar day colors, but after
   clicking
on a calendar day box the interpretation will not correspond to the icon item.
   To get the correct interpretation, use the drop-down item list in the enhanced section
   of the Main Calendar.

-  The Maximize/Minimize buttons appear at the top of the Main Calendar screen in the
   center instead of the far-right side.

   The detailed screens after the first may show green influences instead of red and
   vice versa. Fixed.

-  Moving the cursor over the Long-Term months below the calendar does not always
   show the correct keyword interpretations at the bottom of the screen, especially
   when moving from progressions to transits. Fixed. 

-  After selecting an item in the drop-down Recent Items list in the upper right corner
   of the Main Calendar, the list still remains visible obscuring part of the calendar
   until the mouse cursor is moved off the list. Fixed.

Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 7.1.1 released November 1, 2005

What's New:

-  November 2005 has been added to the forecasting time range.

-
  The chartwheel in the Astro View section has options for displaying all natal and transiting planets.
   This feature can be seen by moving the mouse cursor over the day numbers or weekday letters.
   Another way to display all planets in the chartwheel is to right-click on the Astro View Calendar.

-  There are 4 new chartwheel styles and 1 Zodiac sign set in the Astro View section.

Bug Fixes:

-
 The program crashed on computers in some foreign countires, especially East European
   and ex-Soviet Union Republics. Changes have been made to correct this problem.

  A Full View feature is available in the Main Calendar which shows long term influences
   based on outer planetary transits and secondary progressions. This expanded view also
   reveals more detailed insight during mouseover feedback and makes all menu controls
   accessible on one screen.

June 2005 - Insight Calendar receives Top Award in Popular Program category
at the Freeware World Team site.




It is rare for software to be awarded in its unfinished beta version stage, yet this is exactly
what has happened at the Freeware World Team site, known for its colossal database of program links.
In June of 2005, it has seen a diamond in the rough and has presented Insight Calendar
version 1 beta 5.0.4. the top award in its popular programs category.

Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 5.0.3 released June 8, 2005

Bugs:

-  Local program Active-X DLLs have been removed to avoid runtime error 429
   which occurred on some computers.

-  The problem that caused runtime errors 380 & 384 is fixed.

-  Runtime Error 13
   This bug shows up on some computers when the Name button is clicked
   in the Main calendar control panel. To report it, follow the instructions below:.

   Start the program, click on Menu in the Main program, click on Name,
   exit the name screen, exit the program. Open your email program, attach the debug file
   "dbugCmdName.txt" which is located in C:\Program Files\Insight Calendar.
   Email the debug file to:   info@astro-cal.com as an attachment.

Bugs:  Runtime Error 13 Type Mismatch

-  Runtime Error 13 Type Mismatch has been reported on some Windows platforms
   when clicking on the "Name" button in the Main Calendar. If this error has occurred
   on your computer, then email the debug file to info@astro-cal.com as an attachment.
   The debug file "dbugCmdName.txt" which is located in C:\Program Files\Insight Calendar.

   Version 1 beta 4.0.1 has debugging features to help find the cause of this error. After
   sending the debug file in the attachment section of your email, run Insight Calendar again,
   and press "a" on the keyboard after the Main Calendar appears on the desktop screen.
   In some cases this will bypass the error.

 
2005-04-17

Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 4.0.0 released April 17, 2005

Bug Fixes:

-  When mouse-overing the Main Calendar the interpretation box at the bottom
    of the screen was no longer visible. Problem is fixed.

-  The Insight Calendar button in the Windows Task Bar (which contains the START button)
   disappeared when going into other parts of the program, such as Name, Astro View, etc.
   This made it impossible to switch between programs. The bug is fixed.

-
  A mystery keyword that was partially visible in Astro View when mouse-overing
   the Moon Keywords is removed.

2005-03-31

Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 3.9.9 released March 31, 2005 Package 2

New Version for fixing Error 429:

-  A problem has been reported which crashes the program during the splash screen.
   Error 429 is displayed. This error incorrectly indicates that program active-x dlls cannot
   be accessed as they are not registered in the Registry.

   One possible remedy is to clean the windows registry with a registry cleaner or to
   download the alternative installation package 2 here:  Download-ic1-beta-package2

Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 3.9.9 released March 30, 2005

Bug Fixes:

-  A problem which resulted in a shift by one or more days in all the calendars except
   the main calendar is fixed.

-  An incorrect Moon position which occurred for birth data with PM and 0 hour DST
   is fixed.

Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 3.9.8 released March 27, 2005

Enhancements:

-  May 2005 has been added to the forecasting time range.
-  Mouse-over balloon tips have been added to the Astro View screen.

Bug Fixes:

-  Location data for Noon birth times which was displayed by mistake has been removed.
   The generic location for unknown birth time (Noon) is Philadelphia, USA, which is also the
   location for forecasting methods (transiting aspects in the current version). Option to
   custom-select a location for forecasting methods will be available in a future version.

Bugs:

-  A problem has been reported which crashes the program during the splash screen.
   Runtime error 429 is displayed. To help find the cause of this problem, a debugging log file
   "aic1b398-log.txt" has been added, which is located in the Insight Calendar folder under
   Program Files. Send this file attached to your email and address it to info@astro-cal.com.

-  An error has been reported which results in a shift by one day in all the calendars except
   the main calendar. A debugging routine has been added to find the cause of this error.
   The debugging log can be activated by pressing "d" on the keyboard and then going into
   the vertical scrolling calendar of the main screen. Instructions are displayed on how to
   email the log data.

Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 3.9.4 released March 09, 2005

Enhancements:

-  The time range is expanded from 3 to 16 calendar months: Jan-Dec 2004 and Jan-Apr 2005.

-  Names added by the user in the program will be preserved when Insight Calendar is
   uninstalled and re-installed or replaced with a new updated version

-  The intro company logo screen is timed to close down automatically
   as soon as the loading of all program components is completed.

Bug Fixes:

-  Some potential code problems were found and resolved.

 

2005-03-02 Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 38 released March 02, 2005

Bug Fix: Birth data entry for tropical countries such as Indonesia and Malaysia caused error
which prevented the birth data from being saved.

2005-02-25   Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 37 released February 25, 2005

This update of Insight Calendar works on all Windows versions:
Win98, WinMe, Win2000, WinNT, WinXP.

Bug Fix:  A common problem was reported in version beta 36 during installation:
an error message indicated that mscomctl.ocx could not be overwritten as it was used
by another program. In beta 37, files to be installed in the system folder will no longer
overwrite the same files if they already exist in the folder.

2005-02-19 Insight Calendar:  Version 1.0 Beta 36 released February 19, 2005

This update of Insight Calendar works only on Windows versions: Win2000, WinNT and WinXP.

Bug Fix:  Insight Calendar failed to install on some computers. The problem was encountered
when non-DLL files were written to the system folder.

2005-02-01 Insight Calendar Release Date: Feb 8, 2005

On this day Sun, Mercury, Venus and Moon form a massive stellium with Neptune in Aquarius,
which favors innovative and revolutionary concepts, inventions and products.
The release of the
Insight Calendar cannot be more timely.
