THE GUITAR - FIRST LESSONS & HANDBOOK

FRAMES
BRUCE'S GUITAR PAGE MUSIC CLASSIFIEDS - index

The book has 67 pages and is packed with info on all the elements you require to play well with great technical ability.

ie;
-learn to read tabs & notation (beginners level to intermediate),
-scales (regular to the exotic),
-chords (simple to complex),
-popular intermediate level classical songs (in tabs & standard notation) etc..,
-It puts at your fingertips the theoretical reasons that things work and helps you with songwriting. It is very comprehensive and includes much information not found elsewhere!
It gives you the tools to bring out your music capabilities and be creative. It contains many little tricks that reduce and simplify the workload involved in learning the guitar, thereby speeding up the process. It also virtually eliminates the need for a teacher, saving you a lot of money on lessons!

The book gives a guitarist all the basic knowledge needed to play properly. It means exposure right away to the techniques you need.

For example

1)most solos are based on scales and the way scales interact with the harmonic structure of the song. So scales must be known & practiced and their relationship with chords must be understood.
2)basic playing techniques must be learned to play anything- these are included in exercises and songs etc..
3)playing guitar is largely understanding relationships then putting into practice those relationships.That's what this book is about!
If someone shows you the path, then the rest is easy.You would be surprised how many years you can waste, trying to figure out how something was done because you didn't bother to read a few books. Or how much time you wasted practicing something useless.

ps. This book has info in it that you may never get anywhere else unless you've spent the money I have on just the right teachers!
