Multiplication of any 2 digits by 11

Now .... What happens when the total in the middle is higher than 9 ? ... simple !!! ... carry the second digit of the total and add it to the left digit of the original two digits:
          11x84
             8   (8+4)  4
            8     12     4
            (8+1) 2    4
             9 2 4

        11x83
        8  11  3
        9  1  3
