• A number can be divided by 2 only if it finishes by : 0,2,4,6, 8, or 10
• Example of Numbers you can divide by 2 : 212, 434, 6542, 1230, 326, 238, ....etc.
• Example of numbers you can not divide by 2 : 121, 123, 545, 6547, 876539, ....etc.

• A number can be divided by 3 , only if the total of its digits could be divided by 3
• Example (1):
• To verify if 23765 could be divided by 3
• Add its digits : 2+3+7+6+5 = 23
• Keep adding it digits : 2+3 = 5
• 5 could not be divided by 3
• Then 23765 could not be divided by 3
• Example (2):
• To verify if 5475 could be divided by 3
• Add Its digits : 5+4+7+5 = 21
• Keep adding its digits : 2+1 = 3
• 3 could be divided by 3
• Then 5475 could be divided by 3

• A Number could be divided by 4 only if the last 2 digits could be divided by 4
• Example:
• 165416
• Take the last 2 digits : 16
• You can divide it by 4
• So the whole number 165416 could be divided by 4

• A Number can be divided by 5 only if it finishes by 5 or 0
• Example of numbers that could be divided by 5 : 25, 545, 500, 650, 1050, ....etc
• Example of numbers that could not be divided by 5 : 123, 23456, 6547, 1298, 8769, ..... etc.

• A number could be divided by 9 if the sum of its digits could be divided by 9 (like the 3 above)
• Example:
• 34587
• The total of its digits: 3+4+5+8+7=27
• 27 could be divided by 9 (=3)
• therefore the whole number 34587 could be divided by 9 (3843)

• A number can be divided by 10 only if it finishes by 0
• Example of numbers that could be divided by 10 : 20, 500, 650, 1050, ....etc
• Example of numbers that could not be divided by 10 : 123, 23456, 6547, 1298, 8769, ..... etc
