Fairview Centennial produces six Chief Scouts
 | |
Four scouts from the Fairview Centennial Scout Troop received their Chief Scout's Award plaques from the mayor of Dollard des Ormeaux, Mr. Ed Janiszewski. This presentation took place in the fall of 1996.
The Chief Scout's Award is provided by the Chief Scout of Canada, the Governor General of Canada, and is the highest earned award in Scouts Canada. Scouts spend several years obtaining the skills necessary, and developing their abilities in order to earn this award. The Scouts must also give service to their community as part of working towards obtaining the award. | | |
