District Scout Fall Camp

Camp Tamaracouta, October 16 - 18, 1998


In 1998, for the first time, 5 districts from the Montreal area attended.
There were over 100 participants from 10 different Scout troops.
The Scouts built signalling towers at their camp sites,
and then used the towers to send Morse code across the camp.
The message was then transmitted across the lake to the
2nd and 3rd year Scouts who were camping away from the troops' sites.


The Scouts participated in activities that tested their
balance, cooperation, and dexterity.

The 1999 District Scout Fall Camp will take place on
October 15 - 17, 1999. The theme will be IRON MAN.
