11th Annual Norwich University

Scouting Association Camporee


The 11th annual Norwich University Scouting association Camporee took place
in Northfield, Vermont, on September 25 - 27, 1998.
Six troops (80 participants) from the Montreal region attended the camporee.
The troops that attended were Fairview Centennial, Mascouche Heights,
St. Thomas a Beckett, Pierrepark, Valois United, and 1st Boucherville.

with their ribbon for 3rd Place in the Memory Game
(the first Canadian troop ever to take away a prize!)



Here is a picture of the participants from Fairview Centennial.

There were more than 1300 participants at the camporee, who saw
demonstrations that were put on by the Norwich Ranger and Mountain
Cold Weather Rescue Unit, and the Vermont National Guard and Tank Platoon.
