Page: B4 MILLBURY -- John J. Clair, 56, of 100 MacArthur Dr., a supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service, died Monday, Dec. 18, in his home, after being stricken
ill. He leaves his father, Robert F. Clair of Millbury; a son, Robert Clair of Mobile, Alabama; two daughters, Rhonda Chaisson of Worcester and Vicki Sekel of Lawrence; a brother, Stephen Clair of Worcester; a sister, Christine E. Damiano of Millbury; three grandchildren. A son, Dwain Clair, died in 1985.Mr.Clair was born in Flint, Michigan, son of the late Nan M. (Bryant) Clair and lived in Grafton for 10 years, before moving to Millbury 22 years ago. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1962. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1966. He also attended the University of Southern Alabama and the U.S. Naval War College. He was a 13 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, serving two terms in Vietnam. He received many metals, including five Bronze Stars and two Purple
Hearts. Mr. Clair was a supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service, in the Worcester Office, for 16
years. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, in the funeral home.
