  Fuller, Richard Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller [July 12, 1895 - July 1, 1983] American architect, author, designer, futurist, inventor, & visionary. He was the second president of Mensa. First Day Letter Signed. Fuller supports with enthusiasm, the US space program. Double Postmarked Commemorative 'Man On The Moon' Stamp, / 'FIRST DAY OF ISSUE' Moon Landing, July 20th 1969 & Washington, Sept 5th 1969. Superb letter content. In part: "I do not see the moon landing as an exciting event because I am romantic. I just cannot conceive it as a sideshow. The landing on the moon is in the 'deadcenter' of evolutionary events" Signed in full: R. Buckminster Fuller. Framed & glazed to an overall size of 12" x 17" 1/2.
