(Editor Note: Wayne Motts on 6 June 2000, told me that an error had been made and that Mike Thomas was an H&S 2/5 Marine...not 3/5. Regardless, he will remain memorialized here).

Mike Thomas was an H&S Marine, killed in October 1966 near the demilitarized zone.  He was also from Gettysburg and honored at ceremonies on Memorial Day at the Travelling Wall there.  The following article, written by Wayne Motts, is in tribute to Mike Thomas.
